I grew up in Wisconsin, spent many years living in Washington State, half of a year in New Zealand, and eventually found my way back to Madison 17 years ago—where I truly feel at home. Photography has always been more than just taking pictures for me; it’s about preserving a moment in time that might otherwise slip by. I’m drawn to the way a single image can tell a story, hold emotion, and bring you back to exactly how something felt.
